A scorcher of a challenge before the break

The challenge this Saturday finishes up the topic of creating, exporting, saving and animating images using PowerPoint. The task is to create an animation like those seen on the TV series "Catchphrase" where an animation   depicts a common phrase or saying.

As a start here is a GIF of how to make one. Not all the steps are included this time as everyone is an expert on making an animation!!

Here are some ideas of phrases to use for your own 'catchphrase'

  • A stitch in time saves 9
  • The pen is mightier than the sword
  • No man is an island
  • People who live in glass houses should not throw stones
  • There's no place like home
  • A picture is worth a thousand words
  • Don't bite the hand that feeds you
  • Don't put all your eggs in one basket
  • Two heads are better than one
You might like to try to make a dingbat instead

  • Forgive and forget
  • Missing you
  • Downtown
  • Lucky break
  • He’s beside himself
  • First aid
